Stockton Businesswoman, Mom of Two Surprised with Car Gift from Fabian’s Collision Center & Allstate

Event date: 8/12/2025 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Export event

For years, Stockton resident Olive Arnold has been doing the impossible — running a small business, raising two daughters, and keeping an unreliable 2001 Mercury Sable on the road.

The car, critical to her housecleaning service Heavenly Help Housecleaning, has no working heater, lacks readily available parts, and has become increasingly unreliable. Despite this, Olive has managed the daily demands of getting to clients, transporting her daughters to school, church, medical appointments, and after-school programs — never certain her car would make the trip.

Since 2022, business setbacks and the loss of clients have made saving for a replacement vehicle impossible. Every unexpected repair has been another blow to her already stretched resources. For Olive, a dependable vehicle isn’t a luxury — it’s the difference between keeping her business alive and risking everything she’s worked for.

Next week, that burden will lift.

Fabian’s Collision Center, in partnership with Allstate and the United Way of California Capital Region, will present Olive with a fully refurbished vehicle through the National Auto Body Council’s Recycled Rides® program.

The giveaway event will be held:

“This program is one of the most meaningful things we do,” said Fabian Ceballos, CEO and co-owner of Fabian’s Collision Center. “Olive’s determination and love for her family inspired us all. We’re proud to hand over the keys to a safer, more reliable vehicle that gives her the freedom to keep showing up for her clients, her community, and most importantly, her daughters.”

This is the ninth vehicle Fabian’s has donated through the program, reflecting their continued commitment to creating lasting change in the community.

With her new wheels, Olive can focus on growing her business, keeping her girls safe, and leaving the stress of unreliable transportation in the rear-view mirror.
