Stockton City Council Approves Kings G League Franchise Lease Agreement, Team Reveals Identity – Stockton Kings

Team to Host Job Fair on April 24 in Stockton

Earlier this evening, the Stockton City Council unanimously authorized the city to proceed with a lease agreement allowing the Sacramento Kings G League team to play games at Stockton Arena beginning this Fall.

Following tonight’s vote, the team informed the Mayor and council of the team’s new identity: Stockton Kings.

The team’s new website, StocktonKings.com, and social channels – TwitterInstagram, and Facebook – launched tonight following the Stockton City Council vote.

New team logos and branding that reflects the marks and history of the parent club in Sacramento will be unveiled later this Spring. On Thursday, May 24, the organization will join Mayor Michael Tubbs for the State of the City and the first Stockton Kings Community Day.

On Tuesday, April 24 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the team will host an open call job fair at the Stockton Arena. The job fair for full-time positions with the team will be open to the public and participants are encouraged to bring several copies of their resume. Hiring managers will be on site with information about several opportunities to join the Business Operations group for the Stockton Kings. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older and should dress in professional attire.  For more information about the job fair, visit the Kings postings at teamworkonline.com.
