Stockton Gears Up for a Star-Spangled Fourth of July Celebration at Weber Point

Event date: 7/4/2026 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Export event

Stockton is ready to celebrate Independence Day in grand style as the City of Stockton invites residents and visitors to come together for a full day of patriotic pride, live entertainment, family fun, and fireworks on Saturday, July 4.

This year’s annual Fourth of July Celebration promises to be especially meaningful as the community joins the nation in celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. From the morning parade through downtown Stockton to an evening of music and fireworks at Weber Point Events Center, the holiday will offer something for all ages.

The day begins at 10 a.m. with Stockton’s beloved Fourth of July Parade, hosted by the American Legion Karl Ross Post 16. The parade will honor the nation’s independence while recognizing the service and sacrifice of local veterans. Community groups, decorated vehicles, marching participants, and special guests will make their way through downtown, creating a festive and patriotic start to the holiday.

The parade route begins at Weber Avenue, continues up El Dorado Street to Oak Street, travels down Center Street, and ends at Weber Avenue. Grandstands will be located in front of the Civic Auditorium and DeCarli Plaza.

Later in the day, the celebration continues at Weber Point Events Center, located at 221 N. Center Street. Festival gates open at 5 p.m., welcoming families to an evening filled with local food vendors, artisan booths, community organizations, and attractions throughout the celebration grounds.

Families with children will want to stop by the Kids Zone, which will feature games, activities, interactive entertainment, and family-friendly attractions designed for children of all ages.

Live entertainment will bring even more energy to the evening. Local favorite Latin Magic Band will take the stage at 5:30 p.m., delivering a lively performance to get the crowd moving. At 8 p.m., the Stockton Symphony will present a special commemorative performance as part of its 100th anniversary celebration, honoring a century of musical excellence and community service.

“We are excited to bring our community together once again to celebrate our nation’s birthday and its 250th anniversary,” said Mayor Christina Fugazi. “This annual tradition showcases the best of our community, from our veterans and local performers to our businesses, organizations, and families.”

The night will end with one of Stockton’s favorite holiday traditions: a spectacular fireworks show over the waterfront. The fireworks display is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:30 p.m., lighting up the sky in a patriotic finale to a full day of celebration.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead before attending. Information about parking, prohibited items, and complete event details is available at www.stocktonca.gov/4thofjuly.
