An evening out can also be a moment to recognize the people beside us. In downtown Stockton this Saturday, the Butterfly Pink Movement Breast Cancer Gala & Awards will put survivors and community supporters at the center of the gathering.

Presented by Cali Braids, the gala takes place Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Five2Eight Clubhouse, 528 E. Weber Avenue. Dinner, entertainment and awards are part of a program dedicated to breast cancer awareness and families affected by the disease.

Recognition at the Heart of the Evening

The event’s announced survivor and community awards give the celebration its focus. Cali Braids describes the occasion as a way to honor survivors, acknowledge strength and support families.

That purpose brings a personal dimension to a night of dinner and entertainment. The recognition is directed toward people and their experiences, giving guests a reason to gather beyond the social occasion itself.

For Stockton residents who want to attend, the invitation is a chance to take part in that acknowledgment. Guests are encouraged to dress up and wear pink.

Dinner, Speakers and Entertainment

The announced program includes inspirational speakers, entertainment, vendors, giveaways and fundraising activities, alongside dinner and the awards.

Organizers have also promoted photo opportunities, making the evening a celebration guests can share with the people attending alongside them. A detailed running order is not included in the announcements reviewed for this article.

Rather than arrive for a presumed awards time, guests should confirm arrival arrangements with the organizer and plan around the announced 5–9 p.m. event window.

Tickets and Ways to Participate

The original announcement listed general admission at $50 and VIP tickets at $75, as well as an early-bird option at $40. Tables were listed at $350 for eight people and $425 for ten.

With the gala taking place October 17, those advertised options should be checked directly for current availability. The early-bird price should not be assumed to remain available.

Cali Braids has also invited sponsors, vendors, donors, volunteers and community partners to participate. Kiasha Moore is the listed contact for questions about tickets and getting involved.

An Evening of Acknowledgment
