Neighbors of all ages are invited to move, connect and explore community wellness resources at Happy Chemicals: Movement Is Medicine on Saturday, Oct. 24.

The free gathering runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 742 Dallas Ave., according to the announcement shared by Little Manila Rising’s ECHO and Healing PUSO programs.

This year’s event centers on movement, with workshops including dance and yoga. Organizers also advertise free resources, food, wellness activities, haircuts and giveaways, offering several ways for residents to take part throughout the day.

The program’s theme connects everyday movement with well-being and community participation. Visitors can choose activities that interest them and learn about resources available from participating organizations.

Health Plan of San Joaquin lists the gathering on its calendar and says it will attend. Its announcement also includes health education and screenings; residents should confirm specific screening services and requirements directly with organizers.

For registration and current details, follow the link in the organizer’s announcement. Additional event information appears on Health Plan of San Joaquin’s calendar.
