A day of exploration at University of the Pacific will give prospective students and parents a closer look at science, technology, engineering and mathematics on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Find Your Field: STEM Exploration Day runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Raymond Great Hall on the Stockton campus, 3601 Pacific Ave. Pacific’s registration page confirms the schedule in Pacific Daylight Time.
Interactive breakout sessions will introduce visitors to a variety of STEM fields and connect them with faculty and current students. The program also offers a look inside laboratories, the Makerspace and other specialized learning spaces.
Alongside the academic exploration, participants can learn about campus life, student resources, admissions and financial aid. The event brings those topics together for families considering what a university education could look like.
The College of the Pacific is listed as the organizing unit. Prospective students and parents should review Pacific’s official announcement and use the event registration form to plan their visit.
