Stockton Pride is celebrating a milestone this year.
The 15th Annual Stockton Pride Festival will take place Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza in downtown Stockton, bringing together thousands of residents for a free day of entertainment, culture, food, community resources and celebration.
This year's theme, “Rooted in Community. Resilient in Action.”, reflects both the history of Stockton Pride and the strength of the local LGBTQ+ community as the festival marks 15 years in the city.
15 Years of Pride in Stockton
What began as a local celebration has grown into one of Stockton's major community gatherings.
For more than 15 years, Stockton Pride events have brought together LGBTQ+ residents, families, allies, businesses, entertainers, artists and nonprofit organizations for a day centered on visibility, inclusion, education and connection.
The anniversary gives this year's festival added significance.

The festival will once again take place at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza, 2 E. Oak Street, near the Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium.
Admission is free, and the event is open to all ages. Organizers emphasize that everyone is welcome, including families, friends and allies who want to participate in the celebration.
Keeping the festival free also makes it possible for more residents to participate, regardless of income.
