The Stockton Arts Commission (SAC) invites all visual artists, musicians, performers, and spoken word artists to apply to participate in the next Stockton Art Night, taking place on Wednesday, June 11, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Civic Auditorium, 525 N. Center St.
Under the banner "Calling All Creatives!", the Stockton Arts Commission is opening the call to showcase local talent during this free, quarterly community event designed to highlight the city’s rich cultural and artistic landscape. Artists selected through a competitive process will have the chance to exhibit their work and perform live, contributing to an inspiring and diverse evening of community art.
Hosted by the City of Stockton’s Community Services Department, Stockton Art Nights are part of an ongoing initiative to foster public access to the arts and support creative expression citywide. These events are a platform for engagement, celebration, and exploration across multiple artistic disciplines.
“The Commission was created to advocate for and amplify arts and culture in our community,” said a SAC spokesperson. “Stockton Art Night is an opportunity for everyone—artists and audiences alike—to connect, be inspired, and celebrate the talent that makes Stockton vibrant.”
Applications are now open for the June 11 event and can be submitted online or in person. Both visual artist display applications and live performance applications are available in English and Spanish.

About the Stockton Arts Commission
Founded in the mid-1970s by Marian Jacobs and a group of local arts advocates, the Stockton Arts Commission serves as the arts advocacy body for the City of Stockton. Operating under the Community Services Department, the SAC works to increase public awareness of and participation in the arts, support local artists, and integrate creativity into daily civic life.
