Dial Before You Pile!
The City of Stockton is proud to announce the return of its annual Residential Clean Sweep Program, a free bulky waste pickup service available to residents living in single-family homes, duplexes, or triplexes within city limits. The program runs February through October, offering residents an opportunity to responsibly dispose of large household items and help keep Stockton clean.
Residents can schedule one free bulky waste pickup per year. Each appointment allows for up to three (3) cubic yards of bulky waste to be collected at no charge.
How to Participate:
- Call your garbage company (Republic Services or Waste Management) at least two weeks before your desired pickup date.
- Place your items at the curb the night before your scheduled pickup date.
Clean Sweep piles are collected by appointment only, and walk-ins or unnotified piles will not be picked up. The program applies only to addresses within Stockton city limits. Residents in unincorporated areas or County pockets should contact the San Joaquin County Solid Waste Division for service options.
