San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) has received a major donation from The Housing Authority of the County of San Joaquin (HACSJ).  HACSJ delivered 780 books for the RTD “Books on Buses” program.  All the books are brand-new and are for readers from age 3 on up to teenagers.

The San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission (SJRRC), in conjunction with the City of Stockton and Ten Space Development, Inc., was awarded a $2,000,000 grant through the Measure K Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Safe Routes to School and Smart Growth Incentive Program funded by the San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG). These funds will go toward engineering design and capital improvements to address extremely substandard street conditions along East Channel Street, which reduces walkability and connectivity.

On Feb. 14, Dutch Bros locations in seven states raised $310,273 during their annual Dutch Luv Day, established to support local food banks and organizations committed to ending hunger.

On Thursday, February 15, Jasmine Leek, Customer Engagement Analyst with San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) received a Susan B. Anthony Women of Achievement Award by the San Joaquin County Commission on the Status of Women (SJCCSW).  The category for the award was “Young Feminist Under 30.”
