The 2016 Lawyers in the Library free public legal clinic will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm at the Law Library, located in the Kress Legal Center at 20 N. Sutter Street, Stockton.

The American Red Cross urges eligible donors to give blood this summer for hospital patients in need and offers easy steps people can take to help save lives.

The Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for this year’s prestigious ATHENA Award and ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award.

BREAKING NEWS!  On Saturday, June 10, Dutch Bros will open its first Stockton location at 1665 Pacific Ave. To celebrate, Dutch Bros Stockton will offer free medium drinks that day. 

Dutch Bros Stockton is locally owned and operated by Erik Sawyer. Erik has been with Dutch Bros since 2009, when he began working as a barista in Grants Pass, Oregon. Over the next eight years, Erik worked his way up in the company until in 2016, when he earned the Stockton Franchise.

“When thinking about my future with Dutch Bros, I couldn’t see myself anywhere else,” said Erik Sawyer, owner of Dutch Bros Stockton. “I am excited to share the DB culture with this community and bring the magic that I have experienced with this incredible company to Stockton.”

Delta College Athletics once again offers its exciting Summer Sports Camps for Kids, June 5–9, 12–16, and July 24–28, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. This year's camps will feature basketball AND soccer! May is high season for California strawberries, and the fields were exploding with beautiful, ripe fruit. The gentleman working the stand, Jack, asked what I do for a living. When I told him I work for Medicare, he said he was having difficulty paying for his prescription drugs. So we talked for a while about ways he might be able to reduce his drug costs.
