San Joaquin County Public Health Services is reporting a case West Nile Virus (WNV) related death of an 83 year-old woman from Stockton. The last reported WNV - related death in San Joaquin County (SJC) was in 2007.

The YMCA of San Joaquin County is pleased to announce that Jeff Gilbert of Verve Networks has been elected as President of the Board of Directors. Jeff assumes the leadership post from Scott Harper of Shore, McKinley, Conger & Scott, LLP. During Harper’s two terms as president, the Y grew by 28% and served a total of 16,000 kids.
