Women’s Center-Youth & Family Services (WCYFS) will host its annual holiday giving programs, Adopt-A-Family and the Holiday Toy Drive. These donation programs allow WCYFS to provide additional support to vulnerable youth and families in our community. Women, children, youth and men in crisis arrive at our doors shaken by trauma and anxious about their future. Children ask “How will Santa know where to find us?” and parents worry about how they will afford the basic necessities, let alone presents. Together, we can share the giving spirit of this holiday season.

On Monday, November 25^th close to 2,400 people will be lined up and down the street of the Emergency Food Bank in Stockton California hoping to receive a Thanksgiving Food Box just in time for the holiday season.  But at the moment, the Emergency Food Bank will only be able to supply 850 families with a nutritious Thanksgiving Day meal.

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s was hosted on the University of the Pacific Campus on Saturday, October 19th. Over 100 teams and 1,104 participants joined the Alzheimer’s Association’s annual walk in Stockton, and exceeded its fundraising goal by $10,000.

Twelve of Lodi’s top Tempranillo producers will be celebrating International Tempranillo Day during the weekend of November 15-17, 2019. This is the 4th year of this special passport weekend focused on tasting the best Tempranillos produced and grown in the Lodi Appellation. Lodi produces over 100 different varieties of wine grapes and in 2015 was selected as “Wine Region of the Year” by the Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Tempranillo is recognized world-wide as being one of the most important Spanish varieties and is gaining a foothold in the Lodi Appellation.
