Community Pride on Display

First up, Yosemite Street Village T-shirts are back in stock! Swing by Yosemite Street Music (926 N. Yosemite St.) during store hours — Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 6 PM, and Saturdays until 4 PM. Each shirt is $25, and proceeds go directly toward supporting nonprofit efforts and community projects that keep the Village thriving.

Pride Fest Returns to the Village

While the community bids a heartfelt farewell to the San Joaquin Pride Center as they prepare to relocate in mid-October, there’s one last celebration before they go. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 4 (10 AM–5 PM), when the Village will host the Annual Pride Fest — a full day of live entertainment, delicious food, local vendors, and family-friendly fun. It’s a chance to come together, celebrate diversity, and show support for an organization that has been a vital part of Yosemite Street.

And for those looking to set down roots in the Village, the Pride Center’s space — a spacious 3,100 sq. ft. location at 937 N. Yosemite St. — will soon be available. Interested parties can reach out to [email protected], [email protected], or call (209) 200-2102 for more details.

New Hours for a Beloved Classic

Finally, fans of China Village have a reason to smile. The longtime neighborhood restaurant has updated its hours and is now open on Sundays from 11 AM to 8:30 PM, giving families another day to enjoy their favorite dishes. Please note: the restaurant will now be closed on Tuesdays as of August 1, 2025.

Keep the Spirit Alive

Yosemite Street Village continues to be a vibrant hub of culture, food, and community in Stockton. Whether you’re picking up a Village tee, joining the Pride Fest celebration, or enjoying a Sunday meal at China Village, there’s always something happening on Yosemite Street.

So grab a friend, share the news, and make plans to support the neighborhood businesses and events that make Yosemite Street Village shine.
