Stockton Arts Commission to Host First Art Exhibit – March 12th

The City of Stockton Arts Commission (SAC) will host its first art exhibit, as the first in a series of events known as the Stockton Art Nights. Stockton Art Nights will be held quarterly, with the inaugural event on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. The Stockton Art Nights will be held exclusively at the Civic Auditorium 525 N. Center St, Stockton, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

The City of Stockton brings the holidays to life with events, food, entertainment, and lots of holiday cheer throughout December. Beginning Saturday, December 2, 2023, the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at Weber Point Events Center, 221 N. Center St. Weber Point gates will open at 3:00 p.m. offering lots of holiday festivities and cheer for the entire community. Don’t miss the tree lighting at 5:30 p.m., which will take place rain or shine.

PREVAIL Hosts Green Light Project

PREVAIL, formerly Women’s Center-Youth & Family Services, offers safety, refuge, and mentoring to at-risk youth throughout the county. We provide emergency shelters where youth experiencing homelessness can seek immediate support, a transitional living program where young adults receive supportive housing while they are transitioning to independence, a basic needs center where youth have access to meals, clothing closet, laundry and shower facilities, mail services, hygiene and first-aid supplies, clinical services, and substance use counseling among other wrap around services.
