Art Expressions of San Joaquin is proud to feature member artist Nancy Brooks at the AESJ gallery for a book signing and presentation. Legends, Folktales, Myth and Fables have been an integral part of life for Stockton author Nancy Brooks. From an early age, her interest in tales from around the world helped shape her imagination, leading to the creation of several book series based on a Mayan/Celtic fusion of ‘Mash-up Genre’ stories. Archaeology, history, and spine-tingling legends combine with adventurous heroes, sympathetic ‘monsters’, and courageous heroines in a desperate battle between humans and non-humans.
