Combate Americas will return to Stockton, Calif. with a stacked Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event at Stockton Arena on Friday, Dec. 13, live on television in the U.S. on both Univision (12 a.m. ET/PT) and TUDN (12 a.m. ET/9 p.m.PT).

35th Annual Trout Bout set for November 16

San Joaquin County Parks and Recreation and the Delta Fly Fishers will present the 35th Annual Trout Bout on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Oak Grove Regional Park in Stockton. Approximately 1,500 lbs. of Rainbow Trout (including trophy-size fish) will be stocked in Oak Grove’s 10-acre lake prior to the event, which is sponsored in part by Sportman’s Warehouse in Stockton. The event is also supported by Stockton Sportsmen’s Club.

"Shelter Me" Movie Premiere benefiting the City of Stockton Animal Shelter

The City of Stockton Animal Shelter in partnership with the Community Foundation of San Joaquin County and nationally recognized director and producer Steven Latham will be presenting the World Premiere movie of “Shelter Me: Soul Awakened” at the Bob Hope Theatre on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at 7:00 pm. This film will highlight the work of Paws for Life K9 Rescue and the Search Dog Foundation. All proceeds benefit the City of Stockton Animal Shelter.

The City of Stockton’s Community Services Department is hosting the seventh Annual Spooktacular Movie Night at Weber Point Events Center on Friday, October 11, 2019. This is the final event of the Movies at the Point summer series. The gates of Weber Point Events Center open at 5:30 p.m., and the free feature film, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, begins at dusk. In addition to the featured film, enjoy free activities for kids of all ages including trunk or treat stations, costume contest, face painting, life-size bubble fun, food trucks, concessions, games, crafts, and more.
