Stockton Civic Theatre presents its 400th stage production Dead Man’s Cell Phone

Stockton Civic Theatre (SCT) proudly presents Dead Man’s Cell Phone as its 400th main stage production for its 67th season.  SCT’s Artistic Director, Dennis Beasley will be directing this contemporary play written by Sarah Ruhl. It premiered in 2007, and was nominated for seven Helen Hayes Awards, winning for Outstanding New Play.

As part of the 30th Annual Earth Day Festival, Stockton will celebrate its second March for Science on Sunday morning, April 22 at Victory Park.  The March for Science will last one hour, beginning at 10 a.m. from the Earth Day Festival stage on the west side of park. Congressman Jerry McNerney will join us for the welcome. High school science teacher Brandon Piasecki will do an encore performance of his “Periodical Table Rap” and the drum line from Cesar Chavez High School will be featured.
