The Stockton Thunder has advanced to the second round of the 2013 Kelly Cup Playoffs for the fourth time in five seasons and will open the Western Conference Semifinals against the first seed Alaska Aces in a best of seven series, beginning with Game 1 at Sullivan Arena on Friday, Apr. 19 at 8:15 p.m.

Playing at home for the first time in program history, the Pacific sand volleyball team did not disappoint their home fans as the Tigers took home a pair of victories on Sunday, April 14. Opening the day against future WCC rival Santa Clara, the Tigers picked up a 3-2 win in the morning session of play. In the afternoon, Pacific used four quick wins to down Cal for the second-time in as many weeks, this time by the score of 4-1 to end their home tournament.

Delta Center for the Arts LH Horton Jr Gallery presents the 13th Annual Student Exhibition & Art Awards Competition, April 18 – May 15, 2013. An opening reception and awards presentation will be held Thursday, April 26th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.

San Joaquin Delta College officials and representatives from 112 other community colleges released the first Student Success Scorecard on Tuesday, April 9, with college officials applauding the state law that established the groundbreaking new student accountability performance tool.

The new arrival is housed with its mother Rio, father Jesse, and one-year-old twin sisters in a new enclosure at the Zoo. The infant’s sex will be determined when it is old enough for the veterinarians to conduct an examination. The infant and its family may be viewed at the Zoo every day between 10:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.

Joe Fallon earned his second shutout in three games with 32 stops while Andrew Sarauer picked up two goals and an assist to lift the Las Vegas Wranglers over the Stockton Thunder, 3-0 in Game 5 of the Western Conference Quarterfinal before 2,397 fans at Orleans Arena on Wednesday.
